Pain Facts 3 – Our environment affects the pain we will feel.
In recognition of International Pain Awareness Month of September 2022, Paragon PsychConnect presents three Pain Facts. During September, the International Association for the Study of Pain raises public awareness around pain and pain management.
Our environment affects our wellbeing.
It also has a big effect on our pain perception. Walking through a paddock and getting a stone in your shoe may cause some pain, but what if a bull started to charge you – suddenly the pain disappears as you run for the fence and safety.
