Pain Facts 1 - Do we have pain sensors?
In recognition of International Pain Awareness Month of September 2022, Paragon PsychConnect presents three Pain Facts. During September, the International Association for the Study of Pain raises public awareness around pain and pain management.
Do we have pain sensors? No we do not.
We have danger sensors that talk to our Brain.
Our Brain then decides if pain is an appropriate response.
